Battery Storage (BESS)

The grid, minus the outages.

Battery energy storage engineered for Pakistani load-shedding: seamless switchover, peak shaving, and generator-free backup that pays back in fuel savings.

How it works

The engineering, in plain words

A BESS is a containerised or cabinet-mounted battery bank with a power conversion system and an energy management system (EMS). The EMS decides, second by second, whether to charge from solar or off-peak grid, discharge to shave your peak demand, or carry the full load through an outage. Paired with rooftop PV it time-shifts solar into evening production hours.

What a BESS does for you

Four jobs, one system

Seamless backup

Sub-10ms switchover keeps production lines, servers and medical equipment running through any outage — no genset spin-up gap.

Genset displacement

Every battery-carried outage hour is diesel not burned. At current fuel prices, displacement alone often carries the business case.

Peak shaving

The EMS caps your maximum demand draw, reducing MDI charges and protecting sanctioned-load headroom.

Solar time-shift

Store midday surplus and use it in evening hours — raising self-consumption where export terms are weak.

Best for

Commercial buildings and industries where outages cost revenue: manufacturing, cold chains, hospitals, data/telecom, retail with critical refrigeration.
