Off-Grid

Independence, engineered.

No grid connection at all: solar charges a battery bank by day, the bank carries the load at night. Sized right, it simply works — sized wrong, it disappoints. We size it right.

How it works

The engineering, in plain words

Panels charge a battery bank through a charge controller; an off-grid inverter supplies your load from solar by day and from the batteries after sunset. The system is an island — nothing is drawn from or exported to the utility. Sizing is everything: the array, bank and inverter must cover your worst season, not your best.

Best for

Sites where the grid doesn't reach or isn't worth connecting: farms, tubewells, remote workshops, off-grid homes. For city homes, hybrid usually beats off-grid on cost.

Advantages — and the trade-offs

Every system type has both. Knowing them before you buy is the difference between a system you love and one you regret.

Why choose off-grid

  • Complete independence from the grid and its outages
  • Works anywhere — farms, remote sites, new construction without a connection
  • Immune to tariff increases
  • Pairs naturally with solar tubewells and remote loads

What to weigh

  • Highest cost per kW — the battery bank is a major component and has a finite cycle life
  • Batteries need replacement within their service life (chemistry-dependent) and add maintenance
  • Oversizing for winter/monsoon reserve is unavoidable — honest off-grid design costs more than brochures suggest
